Ayurveda in Russia

Welcome to Ayurveda Heritage
We are a group of dedicated Ayurveda and Yoga professionals specialized in providing genuine Ayurveda treatments and Yoga training for the patients from India and abroad for the  last few decades.

ABOUT ME
My name is Dr. Kutty B.A.M.S.(Ayurvedacharya),Y.T.T.C., (Yogasiromani), Dip.Kundalini(SKY) and Kayakalpa Yoga  Dip.Vaastu.

I was born in a traditional Ayurvedic family in a small village named Aroor in Alleppey district of Kerala,India. My father Vaidyakalanidhi.Kadeparambil Ahamed Vaidyan (1918-1991) also was an Ayurvedic Vaidyan. He belonged to a long line of Ayurvedic Vaidyas in his family. Like his ancestors, he also had deep knowledge in Hindu Mythology and ancient Indian sciences like Ayurveda, Yoga Astrology and Vaastu. He mastered the ancient languages like Sanskrit and Arabic.

Despite his hereditary knowledge in Ayurveda, He graduated in Ayurveda (Vaidyakalanidhi) from  the H.H.Maharajas Ayurveda College, Trivandrum, Kerala in the year 1944.

In the same year he started   his own Ayurvedic Vaidyasala to make his practice more effective. Like other Vaidyas of his time, he also prepared various Ayurvedic formulations by himself  for treatment purposes. As a little boy I used to spend my time  along with him during his practice. Actually I started my studies in Ayurveda from that time and he was my first Guru in Ayurveda.  By this rare experience, I had a chance to get acquainted with various kinds of Ayurvedic Treatment procedures and preparation of Ayurvedic Medicines from the childhood itself.

He also taught me the importance of Yoga  practice and I used to practice Yoga everyday.

After my studies in usual school and Pre-University, I joined for the Ayurvedacharya(B.A.M.S.) course  at Govt. Ayurveda College, Tripunithura, Kochi and got graduated from there. The duration of the course was 5 years and 6 months.

After the completion of my internship at Govt. Ayurveda College, Tripunithura, Kochi. Govt. Ayurvedic Mental Hospital, Kottakkal, Govt. Ayurveda College, Trivandrum and General Hospital, Ernakulam, I started my practice as an  Ayurvedic Doctor.

I worked  in  a multi-speciality Ayurvedic hospital in North Kerala for an year, and after that I concentrated working  with the  Ayurvedic Heritage Resorts in various parts of Kerala.

It helped me to get experienced in treating patients from Europe and other western countries.
By that time I realised that to make Ayurveda practice more effective, I need to know how to teach Yoga to my patients.

And I joined for my Yoga Teachers Training Course in Sivanada Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram at Neyyar Dam, Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala. And got my diploma – Y.T.T.C (Yogasiromani).

The experience and the environment in the Ashram was really inspiring  and it helped me very much to become a real Yoga teacher. Later due to my interest in Vaastu I did another course in Vaastu and  got my diploma from Disha Institute of Vaastu, New Delhi.

Recently I got my diploma in Kundalini Yoga (SKY) & Kayakalpa Yoga For the last  15 years  I  a m working in the field of Ayurveda  and Yoga. My work places included Ayurvedic Centres of various heritage resorts in Kerala such as Coconut Lagoon, Kumarakom., Ashtamudi Resorts, Kollam,  Kayaloram  Lake Resort, Alleppey., Raheem Residency Beach Resort, Alleppey (profiled by BBC Fast Track) to name a few. I also worked an year at Ranveli Village Resort, South Ari Atoll in MALDIVES.

Now I am working in an Ayurveda and Yoga Centre in Yekaterinburg, RUSSIA since May 2005.

I have recommended many of my patients here in Russia who needed more serious Ayurvedic treatments to our  partner centers in Kerala. And they are happy to have such a special experience and like to have it again.

My wife Sheena, is an experienced Yoga teacher from the Sivanada lineage and is well trained in Panchakarma therapy. She assists me in all my activities. And she is taking care of our visiting clients from foreign countries in India and her motivation helps me to be more successful in my work. Together we make our life more  happy and interesting.

We have two children. Daughter Sana and son Amal. Both of them are studying in Amritha Vidyalayam, Harippad, Kerala.
